Port module to the new interface

Support for legacy modules can be dropped any time, so we need to rewrite the module to the new interface.

Hi @bady, is someone working on this issue? If not, I'm interested in rewriting the whole module. I've some experience with Python.

@kumar thanks, i think no one is actively working on it now. so it'll be good if you can give it a try.

I've made an attempt here: !1. Login works for now, it'll be good if user registration and email authentication methods can be ported too.
