Use of GSTIN in invoices has become common. As such using correct GSTIN has become important. Therefore GNUKhata should provide facility for auto validation of this, when a customer or supplier is created. Manually it is done in this manner. The user will visit the site, that is, GST.GOV.IN, click on SEARCH TAXPAYER button, click on SEARCH BY GSTIN button and enter the GSTIN in the input field. Can we automate this procedure. It must be possible because other than GSTIN no item of individual information is needed. In case of PAN, to validate this you must know the date of birth, or registration etc. So it may not be possible.
