An issue regarding Single Sign On (SSO) for the services was also talked about. This is pushed to the next
meeting as well.
The url scheme for the new site and it's services was also mapped.
But this would only be confirmed in later meetings. A rough map included
`/forum`, `/survey`, `/events`, `/gallery`, `/login` and `/posts` from `tvm.fsug.in`
There was a huge debate regarding nginx proxying scenarios to these services, if ICFOSS decided to sponsor the server space. Gokul Das would confirm the status of this, after he tackles [DRBD](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributed_Replicated_Block_Device).

Plus Two Text book of Kerala Syllabus
### Future Activities
For moving FSUG's RYF activities ahead, we have planned to try for collaboration
with CDIT, which is where Mr Tanzeem works. Also it was planned to talk to
some of his contacts in the IT field (which includes CTO's in Technopark/
Thiruvananthapuram based companies), who have interest in FOSS promotional
activities and have already given their willingness to invlove, in a discussion
with Mr. Tanzeem earlier.
### Purism, Free Firmware
Since this meeting prior to Swathanthra.in scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st
Dec 2017 by ICFOSS has significance and the FOSS community is awaiting many talk
by noted personnels, of which the talk by the CEO, Purism is of utmost
significance. FSUG is eagerly awaiting the inevitable change to the use of fully
free hardware not compromising a computer user's freedom, so that when he boots,
he uses **libreboot** or **coreboot** and when he uses his computer OS he uses
only free firmwares and he can be sure that all software he use is free software.
In addition, he can also be sure that the hardware accessories he uses are also
*non-tracking* and uses free firmwares.

## Conclusion
Let's take this as an opportunity to move ahead to provide hardware to the
public that respects user freedom.
>Free as in free air free as in freedom
>free software, free hardware.
Let the Almighty fulfill our good intentions and bring us success.

SUBJECT: Request for Computing resources for hosting Free Software QA Forum
Respected Sir,
The Free Software Community in Kerala currently uses the Telegram channel
"GNU/Linux lovers" for solving user's problems related to GNU/Linux and other
free software.
The issue we are facing with the channel right now is that, it forces the
community members to debug issues that have been answered already.
When a person poses a question which is then solved by one of the community
memebers, the solution is stored in the chat history.
When another person faces the same issue at a later point in time, it is hard
for him/her to browse through the chat history and look if there is already a
solution for it.
This means, the community members end up solving the same problems over and
over again.
It would be very helpful for the whole Free Software community in Kerala and
possibly in India, if there would be a forum where questions can be posted. The
obvious advantage being easy browsing and viewing of questions and solutions.
As the head of the premier organization in the Free Software sphere in Kerala,
it would be wonderful if you could arrange for the computing resources needed
for the same.
As the number of simultaneous users on the forum is going to be low initially,
a virtual machine instance with the following configuration would suffice:
Processor : 1 vCPU
Memory : 4 GB
Hoping for a positive response,
The Free Software users Group Trivandrum
